I have been very busy as of late. The competition last weekend was a mess because of the storm, i will get to that later when i find out the official results as they still have not been posted since they dont have power. I was extremely sore from the comp in my back and legs, probably from the deadlift which i got 20 reps with 365lbs in under a min. Earlier this week i think tuesday i did chest and shoulders real light just to get in the gym. Then i did legs thursday the 18th back at home with my training partner from home and every single time we train together i end up saying im gonna go light because im usually beat up but it never happens and we have a crazy workout. Should be good being home and having someone to train with for a while that knows how to push me beyond my limits.

I decided to just go balls to the wall on the last set figuring i would get about 10 since my legs were already shaking but i got to 20 and was still able to get another 5 at least but stopped at 20 since we still had to do calves.

Donkey Calf raises -

To this day i can say i have never gotten to the point where i felt sick from a leg workout but i proved myself wrong after this one. After i changed and sat down for a shake my legs started shaking like crazy, my whole body was shaking actually. Half way thru my shake i felt like i was gonna puke so i had to go out side for some fresh air. Then i get home, can barely walk and actually fell down a few times going up the steps, lol. Either way it was the best leg workout even though i didnt go that heavy on the leg press like i usually do. The high reps kicked my ass.

Went to the doctor for a follow up about my stomach and he wants me to go in and get a scope on my stomach done to make sure its not an ulcer because it can be a cancer risk he says. My weight is finally going up now that i can eat like i need to again. I still gotta live on my medicine to eat however but the doc said it should get better with time if not i just gotta keep taking it but he said there are no health concerns taking prilosec long term so if it makes me able to eat then its all good.

I think today was the turn around of my bad luck streak. For some reason, even though i was tired as hell this morning when i woke up and only got 5hrs of sleep i was pretty energized today. I was laying in my bed resting about 20 mins before i left and right when it was time to leave i suddenly got a burst of energy and it lasted the whole workout. I put up some crazy numbers (for me) out of the blue, i wasn’t even really going balls to the wall because i didn’t want to get hurt a week out from the paxton show but after today i am feeling MUCH more confident about doing well after my recent hardships.

Farmers 2″ handle -
110lbs 60 ft, turn at 30 no belt
160lbs 60 ft, turn at 30 no belt
200lbs 60 ft, turn at 30 no belt
250lbs 60 ft, turn at 30 no belt
300lbs 60 ft, drop and re pick at 30 no belt
370lbs with regular size handle and belt, tried to pick it and broke it off the floor a little then my grip started giving out/ i gave up, tried it again shortly after with straps and it flew up and i took about 2-3 steps with it.

Log Press -

200 x 1 sucked, i hate log….

Yoke -

We started out light and threw on i think 90lbs each set. Worked my way up to 570 with no belt but i put on my knee wraps because my knees were starting to get sore

Kegs to 48ish inches -

I think i did a 3rd set but im not sure, either way i was shocked that i was able to throw them up with relatively little effort, i wasn’t really killing my self to load any of them.

Very happy with how today went, hope i am this strong come sat.

12-2-08 Hospital Trip

Well…. Last night was a long night. I had to go to the ER because i puked up blood on the way to the gym. I’m glad it happened but at the same time im pissed. I’m glad it happened because i now know why i can’t eat worth a s***, my sleep is horrible and the rapid unexplained weight loss and crap training session for the past month. So after waiting 5hrs in the ER with no food or drink and 25 bucks later in prescriptions i should be better. They didn’t give me an exact diagnosis because they said they would have to look in my stomach to see where the bleeding is but they gave me prilosec to reduce the acid in my stomach and 2 types of anti biotics incase i have an ulcer because they said most of the time when you have an ulcer there is a certain bacteria present. I’ll keep everyone updated on my condition. Physically i am fine aside from a chest cold i got last week but thats going away. Hopefully i will be in good enough shape to do the paxton show in 2 weeks.
